Shelter Veterinarian Job in Mirzapur

Job Role : Shelter Veterinarian

Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough examinations and health assessments of animals upon intake.

• Perform vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and other routine medical procedures.

• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and infectious diseases in shelter animals.

• Develop and implement disease control and prevention programs within the shelter.

• Perform euthanasia when necessary and provide humane end-of-life care.

• Oversee the medical records and documentation for all shelter animals

Skills :

• Knowledge of infectious disease control, herd health management, and population control strategies.

• Proficiency in performing spay/neuter surgeries and routine medical procedures.

• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards shelter animals.
